S.E.A. Dragons Crowned UKIC Challengers Champions

S.E.A. Dragons have added a UK-wide Counter-Strike 2 title to their growing trophy cabinet after being crowned champions of the UKIC League Season 11 Challengers Division.

Competing against teams from across the UK, the Dragons came out on top of the 23-team competition before defeating NEDS 2–0 in the Grand Final on 15 September, securing the championship and £500 first-place prize.

The victory represents an important step forward for S.E.A. Dragons' Counter-Strike programme, taking the team's success beyond Wales after an unprecedented run of four consecutive Welsh Esports League CS2 titles.

The Dragons had already tested themselves at the next level during the summer, reaching the final four of the UKIC Masters open qualifiers on multiple occasions before going on to win the Challengers Division.

Team Principal Patryk Białowąs said:

"This is a big result for our Counter-Strike team. We've achieved a lot domestically, but we've always wanted to show that we can compete beyond Wales as well. Winning a UKIC title is another step forward for the team and hopefully the start of us pushing further into the UK Counter-Strike scene."
