S.E.A. Dragons Enter British Forces Esports League (BFBS Pro League)

S.E.A. Dragons are delighted to announce their roster and entrance into the BFBS Pro League Season 2 (British Forces Broadcasting Service) competition, via the Rocket League event. 

Returning for Season 2 following a successful debut in 2025, BFBS Pro League offers a new challenge for S.E.A. Dragons, with the competition offering four-qualifiers, where the top 8 teams will compete at LAN Finals at the RAF Museum in London. The top 8 teams across these qualifiers are decided by points gained through the four-qualifier events. 

All players within this event must be part of elligible military communities, or be directly related to someone from these communities (partners, spouses, children + more)

At the start of the event, 8 teams are "invited" directly to the 2nd stage of each qualifier (Seen below as the Swiss stage)

These 8 invited teams are made up of 1-2 teams from each aspect of the British Forces within esports (7 teams varied from Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, BAES, UVG) - as well as the highest-overall / ranked team outside these teams (decided by in-game MMR / Rank)

Each qualifier is split into three sections:
- "Open" Group stage, BO3 Fixtures: Round robin style, two groups, everyone plays against each other, the top 4 of each group advance to Swiss Stage, alongside the 8 "invited" teams

- Swiss Stage, BO3 Fixtures: Following the traditional RLCS format and the "Buchnolz" System. a minimum of 3 games, maximum of 5, teams winning 3 games advance to the playoffs, teams losing 3 games are eliminated from the qualifier.

1-4 placed teams in Swiss Stage advance to "upper bracket Quarter Finals."

5-8 placed teams in Swiss Stage advance to "lower bracket Round 1."

- Playoffs, BO5 Fixtures: Traditional RLCS GSL Stage, although fixtures are BO5 rather than BO7 as seen in RLCS. 

Points are spread out as follows for each qualifier:
1st - 16 Points (Playoff Winners)

2nd - 12 Points (Eliminated as Playoff Finalists)

3-4th - 9 points (Eliminated as Playoff Semi-Finalists)

5-6th - 6 points (Eliminated as Playoff Quarter Finalists)

7-8th - 6 points (Eliminated in Playoffs Round 1)

9-11th - 4 points (Eliminated in Swiss Stage with a 2 Wins /3 Loss match record)

12-14th - 2 points (Eliminated in Swiss Stage with a 1 Wins /3 Loss match record)

15-16th - 1 point (Eliminated in Swiss Stage with a 0 Wins /3 Loss match record)
