S.E.A. Dragons Off-Season Update (WEL 9)

23/10/2025

As the off-season begins, S.E.A. Dragons can confirm a number of squad changes across the club. Several players have been released or have moved to different titles, and we want to extend our thanks to everyone who represented the organisation during our first-ever competitive season. Their effort and commitment helped establish the foundations we are now building on, and the club is grateful for everything they contributed.

The club now moves into the new season with a clearer structure and renewed focus.

One of the key decisions this off-season has been the extension of Connor "Faiyze" Chittock's contract for a further two seasons. Faiyze has played an important role in developing our performance environment and will continue to be a central part of the club's long-term plans.

In Rainbow Six Siege, CamRHops has transitioned from player to Valorant Team Manager. Cam brings significant experience from managing Ghostly Gamer Squad, a multi-time WEL champion, and from competing at the highest levels of Welsh esports. Supporting him will be coaches Ivo and Klay, who will work closely with the Valorant roster in preparation for WEL 9.

On the R6 side, the club welcomes former Tier 2 competitor and multi-time WEL winner Will "ynb" Tayler as our new Rainbow Six coach. As a Brecon local with proven experience, ynb arrives with a clear aim of raising standards following a below-par WEL 8 campaign.

In EA FC, the club is pleased to confirm the contract extension of EyEzNoZe ahead of EA FC 26. After a strong second-place finish in WEL 8, both the club and player enter the new season with clear ambitions.

With Chess now added to the Welsh Esports League lineup, S.E.A. Dragons can also announce the signing of Welsh international Alex "Bullenov" Bullen, who will represent the club in the new title.

Our Counter-Strike 2 roster, featuring several Welsh internationals and elite-level players, has been fully retained as they aim to replicate last season's unbeaten campaign.

One of the major additions of the off-season is the capture of former professional Rocket League player and Welsh international Euan "Tadpole" Ingram, a significant moment for the club and one already highlighted by local media: Brecon and Radnor Express & Powys County Times

Tadpole joins a Rocket League group that reflects the direction and ambition of the S.E.A. Dragons project.
