TADPOLE STATS RLCS OPEN 2 DAY 1:

The most assists and saves on the team boasting a staggering 48.5% of the teams total assists (33) and 40.4% of the teams saves (47) throughout the entirety of RLCS Open 2 Day 1, Tadpole showing why he is considered one of the best to grace the game, commanding his team and leading by example all across the pitch, a true leader oozing with experience and class.
SELLARS STATS RLCS OPEN 2 DAY 1:

The best mechanical player on the pitch in every game during our RLCS Day 1 run, taking 56 shots by himself, accounting for 48.7% shots taken by the full team during day 1, converting 25 of those 56 shots into goals, a staggering 55.6% of all S.E.A. Dragons' goals came from Sellars, where he individually scored 44.6% of the shots that he took throughout the day. Also having the highest-combined score within the team.
DASH STATS RLCS OPEN 2 DAY 1:

Stats couldn't show the role Dash plays in so many fixtures, multiple game-winning goals, saves to keep the team in the game, with a consistent 38.1% of his shots (21) scored throughout day 1.
Speaking to S.E.A. Dragons' shoutcaster and RLCS observer, PrilDeterjan, Dash had this to say:
"I think it's a very, very good start (to the RLCS weekend) I think we're all ready for day 2, we're confident we can push a lot further than we already have."
"To be honest, I don't think we need to do much to play better, we just need to keep our momentum up from the final game in the best of 5 series and we'll be competitive within day 2"
"All I have to do is play my role, playing third (man) get those first passes to them early for the attacks, bumping and disrupting the opponents, shooting on the opens they create, for as long as I keep up my role to help them (Sellars + Tadpole, teammates) we should be okay."
As well as talking to Dash, PrilDeterjan would also speak with S.E.A. Dragons Rocket League Team Manager and Head Coach, Connor "Faizye" Chittock for his thoughts on the day and the teams performance:
"Little bit mixed, but for the most part a very very positive day, obviously very happy to make day 2 (uppers) - this is a team that hasn't been around the longest and locked in during the final week of signups and only been scrimming together for a matter of weeks."
"This is quite confidently Dash's best RLCS placement ever too, no matter what happens tomorrow, so we're very happy in that regard and happy for him too. Very happy with the result today and the overall performance from each individual and the team collectively."
"After every single goal (conceded or scored) Tadpole has had something to say as a leader to really elevate this team going forwards to keep pushing or to compose in the moments where focus can be lost and obviously helps to elevate the comms through his leadership, that's the key factor that has gotten us through today."
"(To improve ahead of tomorrow / day 2) some of the balls that we go for or just launch across the map, none of that needs to happen, there's so many times where we have the ball early today where we rush it forward, lose control, concede but that's gotten better throughout the day as we've settled helping us to concede less throughout the day"
"(Immediate first thoughts ahead of day 2) We just need to be ourselves and play as the team that we know we are, you could see it well in that last game in the best of 5, where before we was at matchpoint (winning 2-1) and let them comeback to match it, but then dominated the final game to close it out and truly take control, not letting that momentum swing catch us out and knock us off our feet, we had to react early to prevent that. I feel like we really did that well, we took control of that game so well and barely let our opposition have many shots, if any at all to close out the day, dominated the game with a 4-0, that's what we need to have (mentality) going forward."
"We just have to focus on ourselves and not over-complicate things going into tomorrow, making sure that we keep the basics going and keeping them strong, in every game we lost today it was due to minor mistakes and the basics being ignored, but when we respect these things, that's where he true S.E.A. Dragons come out, especially within this team (of players.)"
"Final thoughts (words) from me are just, I can see the chat popping, we really appreciate the support for not only myself, but the full team, we hope you've entertained you and made you proud to watch today, but this is not where we end, S.E.A. Dragon's RLCS story in Open 2 continues tomorrow, you know where to be."
S.E.A. Dragons continue their RLCS Open 2 journey tomorrow (January 10th 2026, 5pm UK time) where they will start in the upper-brackets of pool A3 in a double elimination format.
