Welsh Esports League #10 - Rocket League Season Round-Up

05/03/2026

S.E.A. Dragons' Rocket League campaign in Welsh Esports League Season 10 (WEL10) began with the roster announcement on 06/02/26 and would prove to be one of the most dominant displays ever seen by an individual team within a Welsh Esports League Rocket League season, in what was also recognised as the largest edition of Rocket League within WEL since its' introduction in February 2023.

The roster saw multiple changes from Welsh Esports League Season 9 (WEL9) - seeing Snowzzee and Yug be replaced by newcomers "Sellars" and "Vinxzn" (substitute.) Sellars would join-on from the RLCS Roster S.E.A. Dragons would field for the RLCS Open 2 and RLCS Open 3, where he teamed up with Tadpole and Dash (Open 2) whilst Vinxzn would be newly-introduced and competing within his WEL Debut.

Off the field, PrilDeterjan would officially be named as the caster, observer and producer for the team for the entirety of the campaign, following his work in WEL9 and RLCS Split 1 with the Dragons. Connor "Faizye" Chittock would also remain apart of the team as the Head Coach & Team Manager, continuing a role he began back in WEL8 in July 2025, officially maintaining him as the longest-serving individual at the club within the Rocket League roster.

Playing Roster:
Tadpole (Captain)

Sellars

Dash

Vinxzn (Substitute)

Team Staff:

Faizye (Head Coach + Manager)

PrilDeterjan (Caster, In-game Observer and Producer)

Head Coach & Team Manager, Connor "Faizye" Chittock provided the following statement following the announcement of the roster:

"Really looking forward to WEL10! What a fantastic season we have ahead with so many new teams, players and so much more talented competition entering the league for the first time, THIS is what it's all about! Really excited to welcome Sellars into the Welsh Esports League too, his mechanical ability will be a key factor in us trying to defeat those top-tier sides we're expecting to face this season. As well as that, delighted to also retain the services of Dash and Tadpole, in the hope and effort that their previous experience can play a role in taking us back to the same position and beyond! (as they say, third times the charm! ) Finally, I'd like to offer a welcome to our newest recruit and substitute for this WEL season, Vinxzn, who is making his Welsh Esports League debut, someone with a great reputation outside of WEL, having international experience with the Sudan FIFAe World Cup team. We're looking forward to seeing his debut on the field and hope he can play a serious part in supporting the "starting" players moving forward. Outside of the playing roster, I'd also like to officially welcome "PrilDeterjan" once again as our caster, following his extremely impressive ability and commitment shown in WEL9, where he was moved last minute to cast our playoff-run, as well as our RLCS Open 2 and 3 runs, his ability will display great entertainment and education to those watching as new fans or returning fans to the S.E.A. Dragons team or general Welsh Esports League fans, evident in his recent recruitment by Esports Wales for casting within the F1 coverage, which I'd like to further congratulate him upon! It could be stated that we are WEL prepared for the season ahead, we're hopeful once again that we can bring the title to Brecon, though with the upgraded talent, that could prove difficult. No matter who wins the title, they will truly deserve it, in what could possibly go down in history as the best WEL Rocket League season in history. I'm sure of that. Best of luck to all the teams competing!"

The season then officially began and kicked-off with S.E.A. A 4-0 SERIES SWEEP IN THE FINAL FOR S.E.A. DRAGONS, WHO ARE CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF THE WELSH ESPORTS LEAGUE SEASON 10 - ROCKET LEAGUE!!!

The Most Dominant WEL Rocket League final ever seen, on top of a record-breaking season from S.E.A. Dragons.

Following the victory within the final against Pit Ponies, ALL members of the S.E.A. Dragons Rocket League WEL10 roster appeared on the PrilDeterjan broadcast (S.E.A. Dragons' dedicated caster, observer and producer within Rocket League) to be interviewed and review the season.
This is going to be a long section...

Head Coach & Team Manager Connor "Faizye" Chittock had the following words to say, immediately after the victory within the final:

"I think that might be the most dominant Rocket League WEL Final ever, I'd need to do a bit of research on that one, but I think it is"
"Absolutely, (what a way to finish the season) more than proud of that, I'm absolutely delighted, just as I said in the pre-match interview we wanted to dominate, and we've gone and done that. Third time was the charm as they say."
"Just as I said in my analysis pre-match, they played exactly how we expected them to play, they really weren't all that, they weren't exactly up for it, they didn't want it as much as we did just as expected, ultimately we have shown that today with a 4-0 sweep, domination, nothing short of it, absolute domination, it's probably the best we've ever played as a team, and what a time + place to do it"
"We've always together Yigit (PrilDeterjan) back at York (Vikings) said that Sellars plays his best under pressure and when there's an audience, and oh my word what a performance from him."
"Was there a particular strategy that allowed you to dominate for the 4-0?" - PrilDeterjan
"To just play against them, exactly how we planned, we knew that their first man was always going to be too aggressive, there was too much (from us) on the front foot (for them to combat and defend) they didn't have any thinking behind their dives by the feel of it (as first-man) they just went for the ball, when your first-man does that, it leaves your second and third man wipe open, look at how many goals we scored from that."
"Any last words to the stream (and audience) before you sign off?" - PrilDeterjan
"We did what we said we would, we did what we wanted to do, so thankful to everyone that turned up and supported us during WEL10, we'll be back even better and stronger for WEL11, and RLCS (Split 2) coming up. We're dominating every league we're in (Eighty6 Inferno League) we're top of the group there too, it's exciting times to be involved with this club. It's special, I can't wait for the future"
"All I will end on, is keep your eyes on social media, as I and the club have a very exciting announcement coming soon, it's a big one, you don't want to miss it."
- Faizye (Connor Chittock) - Head Coach & Team Manager

Following on from Faizye, Jacob "Sellars" Sellars would take the stand and spotlight to provide the following statements:

"Is there any first thoughts you want to say to the stream about your personal performance?" - PrilDeterjan
"Well in the scrims earlier before the match I wasn't feeling confident enough, but like Connor (Faizye) said before the game, I play better in front of people, I'm just clear of them"
"(I love) proving people wrong, success isn't a factor for me, it's proving to people wrong and seeing the reaction from people"
"Tadpole's the goat, follow PrilDeterjan, follow Faizye on TikTok - you don't get this (pointing at a trophy won from BETT Show LAN 2025) for nothing."
"I'd like to also give a couple of shoutouts, firstly my college (and college esports team) York Vikings, I wouldn't be in this position without them and if they didn't exist. Tadpole is the best player in the game, GG.
- Sellars (Jacob Sellars) - S.E.A. Dragons Rocket League Player

Following on from Sellars, Dash would take the stand and spotlight to provide the following statements:

"I'm gonna be completely honestly, going into this (before the scrims) I was so scared going into this (the final) after last time (WEL9 final) but then we went into scrims, I felt like I was playing so well, we all went into the final with full confidence, it wasn't even close, we didn't even give them a chance"
"Tadpole spoke to me before the tournament after scrims saying 'prepare to win, play with confidence' I did that, and we won."
"I think I played the best games (series) of Rocket League I've ever played, I feel like I got all my 50s perfectly, it was mainly my confidence building since the last WEL final where I feel like we lost because I was just banging the ball and had no confidence in myself, this time and since then, the team's helped me build that confidence and I was more composed on the ball and controlled it well."
"It was completely different (this WEL) I'm happy to have won it, it's nice to have come back and win it with Tadpole, Faizye and the newcomers (Sellars, Vinxzn) it means a lot to everyone, it's nice that I got to help win with everyone."
"Follow S.E.A. Dragons, great org, follow Faizye, follow PrilDeterjan, follow Sellars, make sure you follow me (Dash) as well"

This part of the interview also produced what can only be described as one of the funniest moments captured on the PrilDeterjan Twitch stream, throughout the entire WEL10 campaign and season.

"Oh and one last thing, Tadpole sign my steam, now we've won WEL I think I deserve the sign"
- Dash - S.E.A. Dragons Rocket League Player

Editor can confirm, Dash got his steam sign from Tadpole.
Following on from Dash, team captain Tadpole would take the stand and spotlight to provide the following statements:

"It's straight forward from me I think, proud of these two (Dash + Sellars) most importantly for how they dealt with the final but also the semi-final last week, I feel like the semi-final was a bit more difficult last week than the final, for a semi-final it was quite a tough game going to game 5 but we dealt with that pressure well, due to the practice (scrims) that we've put in as much as we have, I think as a result of that, I think it's the first time it's been genuinely comfortable in an environment like that."
"I feel like there's many times that I have these guys (sort-of) advice that isn't the best time to do so, whether it's mid-game or in a scrim, I think that gives a whole new-dynamic to the team but I'm glad that they trust me as much as they do to take on that advice when its' needed"
"As Dash said today, I think a lot of his issues have been very confidence based but to see him control that today and manifest his own success was a really great thing to see."

Similar to the interview with Dash, this part of the interview also brings another top-tier moment on the stream, which can only be given its' true justice via another video clip.

Absolute, cinema.

"The boys have been fantastic, it's been good for me to put more time into the game as of late, it's been a cool project (at S.E.A. Dragons) to come and play WEL, I wouldn't say I've unretired but that certainly felt very comfortable today, very happy."
- Tadpole - S.E.A. Dragons Rocket League Captain

Finally, following on from Team Captain Tadpole, Vinxzn would take the spotlight to share some words as well.

"After that, honestly it's the happiest I've been in months, I know I haven't done much in terms of being the substitute but I love my team so much, the way they play, the stuff they do on and off the field, they do wonderful things, they are wonderful human being off the field"
"Faizye (Head Coach & Team Manager ) I talk with him everyday, he's genuinely a great lad, great manager and great coach, it's been a joy to work under him, I'd love to continue here. Sellars, the same, we had some disagreements but still a great lad, same with Dash, I only have positive things to say about this team, I love all the team equally."
"Hopefully we can do the same for WEL11, continue with the progress and momentum we have (and have built) I hope we build that up into the next tournaments."
- Vinxzn - S.E.A. Dragons Rocket League Player

PrilDeterjan would close off with this message to the team:

"I really do appreciate it, everyone coming and talking to me (and the stream / viewers) today after that win, what a way to win it, I'm extremely proud of you boys, I'm speechless after that performance to be honest."
"That's all from me boys, thanks for joining, I really do appreciate it, hopefully we shall replicate the same for Welsh Esports League Season 11, and make good progress in the RLCS Open Qualifiers as well. (Split 2) onwards and upwards for S.E.A. Dragons."
- PrilDeterjan- S.E.A. Dragons Rocket League Caster, Observer & Producer

The stats from WEL10 were also extremely impressive, likely breaking and setting many WEL records within Rocket League.

Individual player stats showed and rightfully earned team captain Tadpole the MVP (most valuable player) title for the season, with him getting the most assists (28) and saves (39) for S.E.A. Dragons throughout the tournament, whilst also having the 2nd highest goals (33) scored for the Dragons as well as an absolutely outstanding 12,863 total score collected throughout the event, marginally beating out Sellars, but still the highest of any S.E.A. Dragons player. Proving that he still has what it takes to be a top player, despite so much time away from the game and even after retirement.

Sellars would also prove his quality within the tournament, scoring a staggering 47 goals throughout the entirety of WEL, the most of any S.E.A. Dragons player in WEL10 by a very fair margin, alongside 26 assists and 22 saves, with a furtherly outstanding total score of 12716 achieved in his debut season. An incredible debut to the Welsh Esports League, proven by the casters stating "it's always Sellars" and expressing his excellence, especially within the Welsh Esports League, Rocket League final on stream.

Dash rounds off the starting roster stats, showing his role within the team and playing his part in the success, with 23 goals, 16 assists, 13 saves and a total score of 7379 achieved, earning deserved plaudits on the Esports Wales broadcasts at times.

Vinxzn also showed glimpses of quality on his substitute appearances, putting 3 goals, 6 assists and 2 saves on the board, with a total score of 1262.

Total stats:
Goals scored: 106 (in 323 shots)

Goals conceded: 32

Assists: 76

Saves: 76

Clean Sheets: 8

Win ratio: 24W / 3L (individual matches - 88.9% match win rate)

The PrilDeterjan stream also showed it's quality as always in production, passion, casting and professionalism (until the Head Coach & Team Manager  Faizye appeared for interviews) - and was rewarded with incredible analytics as shown above.
A further positive on top of the best season S.E.A. Dragons Rocket League has seen yet, giving strong foundations for  WEL Season 11, as well as RLCS 2026 Split 2, to build upon.
We'd like to once again thank PrilDeterjan for his commitment and effort to the team, the support he provides on camera and off-camera is a true testament to his nature and personality, we're proud to call him our own and work alongside him!

Following the victory within the final and becoming the Welsh Esports League, Rocket League Season 10 Champions, S.E.A. Dragons were also named and awarded the "Club of The Season" award for the 2nd season in a row! Marking the first time that a club has won the award as both an "affiliate" member and "full" member of the league, also becoming the second time a team has won "Club of The Season" twice in a row (after Wolfhounds in S6 and S7.)

The players and staff also celebrated the win on social media, as can be seen below.
